NOTION

​Based on the narrow plot of 180’ in depth, as a main challenge.  Notion was to highlight pocket of spaces in between long corridors to break the fragmentation in planning. With private areas at the back, central space works as living open areas with terraced spaces. The form is stepped to give a recessed articulation in both vertical directions, above terrace and below lawn. Cladding material is brick with contrast of planner surfaces giving a more balanced stance. At some spaces outdoor material penetrates interior to give more corresponding materiality as a whole.
