Welcome Ply Store is a retail interior designed by ORAD in Islamabad, conceived as a restrained architectural backdrop for the display of materials and products.

The design explores rawness, materiality and visual restraint through a palette of terrazzo, grey tones and strong linear elements. Rather than introducing decorative layers, the interior relies on the inherent character of its materials, creating a space that feels tactile, robust and deliberately unfinished.

The architectural language is rooted in a quiet form of brutalism, where surfaces, junctions and structural lines become part of the visual experience. The neutral palette allows the products to remain the primary focus, while controlled lighting and carefully framed displays create moments of emphasis throughout the store.

Designed by Affan Ahmed, the project reflects an approach to retail architecture where the interior does not compete with the product, but instead establishes a clear and considered environment in which it can be experienced.
